DS FRANCE x METIERS D'ART COMPETITION 2021

Kicked off in April 2021, the DS x MÉTIERS D'ART call for artistic creations brought together dozens of professional craftspeople around a common objective: to propose new techniques, materials, and solutions for the creative aspects of the of the DS Automobiles brand.

Along with nice other successful candidates Ateliers Berger received the support of the DS Automobiles design teams for the creation of two samples through which we were able to exercise our artistic intentions and know-how.

The jury met again in July to discover the work of the ten candidates and take advantage of a videoconference chat with each of them in order to better discover their personality and their world.

Three finalists were then nominated to be entrusted with a DS 9 door panel décor piece on which they will apply the techniques used on their sample of their project selected by the jury. The Ateliers Berger team would like to express its gratitude to the DS Automobiles team and to the Studio Métiers Rares, as we took great pleasure in participating in this adventure. We congratulate all the candidates and wish the finalists good luck.

The work of all participants was presented at an exceptional event organized in Chantilly on September 14, 2021. The final winner will then create the complete interior design of a unique DS 9.
