Bottega Living, a Dubai-based brand renowned for its bold lines and sculptural approach to furniture, joins forces with Ateliers Berger, a French atelier celebrated for its organic inspirations and material interplay.

Together, we aspired to create a unique piece at the intersection of our two design philosophies. This synergy gave rise to the Aerarium: a cabinet that merges Bottega Living’s daring design and artistic structure with Ateliers Berger’s mastery of textures, material combinations, and attention to detail.

We invite you to discover the Aerarium — a creation that transcends the notion of furniture to become a true work of art. A unique piece born of our collaboration with Bottega Living, it seamlessly fuses contemporary aesthetics with artisanal excellence and bridges our Middle Eastern and Western heritages. A Timeless Creation

The name Aerarium refers directly to ancient Rome’s treasury, a symbol of wealth and power. With this name, we sought to elevate the cabinet beyond mere functionality and imbue it with symbolic significance. Conceived as a precious artifact, it is intended to be a legacy object — something to be passed down through generations.

 

 

Its design draws inspiration from ancient architecture, with vaults that evoke strength and grandeur. Through these inspirations and the unmatched craftsmanship of our two luxury houses, the Aerarium expresses our vision of a timeless yet resolutely contemporary aesthetic.

 

 

L'excellence des Ateliers Berger dans le travail des matières

The expertise of Ateliers Berger is fully expressed in the unique textures and finishes developed for this piece. The façade features a subtle and elegant Landscape Graphite texture, contrasted by a central circle adorned in our Stripe texture in a refined champagne hue, accentuated by a luminous Chaff finish.

This interplay of materials is seamlessly integrated into a star-shaped marquetry motif named Stella — a bold visual signature. On the back, the same Stripe Chaff texture is applied horizontally to create a sense of movement and visual continuity.

Each material has been carefully selected to meet the expectations of a discerning audience — one that values the nobility of materials, their durability, and the authenticity of craftsmanship. Notable highlights include:
