The vision of a committed and responsible world guides Atelier Berger's approach at every stage. Taking the time to observe nature is an essential step for the creator of exceptional wall decorations. The choice of being located in the heart of surrounding mountain ranges is a daily reminder that man belongs to a sensitive and abundant ecosystem.

Human, humus and humility share the same etymological root: earth.

Humility is in fact quite simply recognising that we are earthly, a part of the living world.

The secrets of creation are sometimes hidden in bark, in waves on a lake or in the emotion of the undefinable colours of a rising sun.

The workshop's aim is to try to restore this beauty and poetry through unique works of art, true mural signatures that inspire and soothe the observer.

 The rigorous approach that Atelier Berger applies in its quest for tones colours and the perfection of gesture also extends to the selection of materials and the production methods used.

The materials are carefully considered and chosen to meet environmental and local standards. For example, the paper, an essential support for the creation of the decors, has been selected locally in the Grésivaudan valley, twelve kilometres from the workshop. It meets FSC standards, and paper scraps are recycled to be transformed into notebooks.

 The production phase is anticipated in a comprehensive way to have the least possible impact on the environment. The environmentally sustainable luxury wall decors, which can be very large, have been designed so they can be rolled up and be shipped. The meticulous optimization of their surface avoids the use of specific means of transport and the need for expert teams to travel with the works. This means that decors can be used on the walls of hotels and high-end boutiques all over the world with a lower carbon footprint. To facilitate the installation of custom-made wall decors by local teams in respect of the rules of the art, the workshop has developed instruction guides for a rendering worthy of our exceptional decors.
